Hi, Its been so long since I have updated my blog. And i mean a really2 long time. A lot of amazing things that happen in my life, but there are downs too. Yet the best part is when i could look back from pictures I took of that actual event/ incident/ life changing and amazing moments of my life. COLOURAMA 2010 Meeting (Chiptune)

What is Colourama?

Its an event that combines fashion, trend, video, music and design in one place! The concept is 8-bit (1982-1990 era); and in particular the graphics architectures, algorithms and techniques being employed at that time in computer games. Previous event was Colourama 2008 in Galaxy Ampang. These types of music (mostly created using a gameboy) are called chiptune music. Videos of the previous event below

On the 17th yesterday, there was a meeting for the event Colourama 2010 at 2pm Time Square. Its like an audition or they call it "pemilihan". Aimen or Mikrobotman, one of the top chiptuner in Malaysia was there to invigilate other new chiptune performer. Soon came Jaka or JW86, he is one of the top chiptuner in Indonesia and the person who influence Malaysians in chiptune music. The actual date for Colourama 2010 is on the 9.10.2010

Take 4 (Theater)

"Take 4" is a theater group created by MMU student but it is not an official MMU club or anythin related to MMU. They just do this for fun and YES, it was fun... i laugh the crap out of me XD hehe. It was held in the MPH (Multipurpose Hall) in MMU yesterday night. Most of the act are comedy, and some just show off their talent or band. At the end of the show, Radi from OAG came and played a song that might be in his new album soon. Pics and Video below

Sudden Plan to Genting

Yup.... sudden plan to Genting.

From the prev post... me, Fara, Fina and Fariz (or Fariz XD) took pics in Alamanda... then around 5pm i need to go back cz i planed few days ago with Danial that we wanna go Shopping. YAY. I invited Fara and Fina too. So me, Danial, Azzah, Fara, Fina was on our way to errr... Complex Belia sumthin2 near Bukit Jalil cz got sale there. But i didn't shop... cz no money... no shop XD.

After that, we were on our way back sum1 suggested to go to Genting Highland... n i was like... "JOM.... JOM... JOM Genting... beli makanan... pegi Genting.... makan kat sana... then balik.... JOM!!!" then we went there... and i mean seriously went there. We all hv fun there... and yea, it was damn cold. Took some pics, 'lepak2' and ate our mcD that we bought earlier. Danial bought sumore KFC (he eats alot... if dont belive me... click here to see Carl's Jr post). I think i was the only person there wearing a 'Slipar Jepun'... ahak XD.

We were there till 2am today, and b4 we go back to MMU, we bought pastries, cupcake and donuts. On the way back, we all 'SUAP MENYUAP' each and evry1 in the car, sharing and trying each pastries, cupcake that we bought... XD... hehehehe... we arrived in MMU around 4am. Poor Danial hv to drive the whole night.... but he said it was worth it XD

Taking Photos Near Alamanda

Hi... Lots of things happen yesterday till today. So ill divide the post into 2 part. This post will be the first part where we took photos near Alamanda around 4pm yesterday. My friend Fara invited me to join her with Fina and Fariz (or is it Faris... not sure... sorry XD). So i decided to join. Ate KFC.... MMMmmmmm ~ KFC XD

Each people hv their own perfect pose that makes them look totally different (in a good way... XD). All i can say is that from these photos, i think Fara and Fina do hv potential. So i think i want to take them for a photo shoot as a model 1 day somewhere in Putrajaya or maybe do some flash photography. Cant wait XD

Carl's Jr

Juz wanna update with some crap. Its been awhile since i ate at a fast food restaurant. So me and Danial also Azzah decided to go to Carl's Jr around 3-4pm just now. Ate there once before and all i can say is that the burger is so #$%^& big. Super big. The main reason i wanted to write this post is not about Carl's Jr... but how Danial ate his burger... muahahahaha...

MMU Game Fest '10

On the 27th and 28tha Game Fest was held in MMU. What is it about? Its all about games. From board games to console games, everything was there. A lot of competition was held on that day. Dota, Rubik's Cube, Risk, Counter Strike, Rock Band (love this game... XD) and many more But i only went there on the 27th, since i got my test on Monday. I did played a game called DiRT 2. Its a racing game, developed with the help of Codemaster KL (yup... Malaysian).

But... too bad... i got number 2 (really wanted the prize... even though i'm not sure what it was XD). Picture below

Treasure Hunt (MMU College Festival)

Yesterday... 24th... The college festival made a competition called Treasure Hunt.... and no, im not part of the commitee. 2 days earlier, my frend called me to help her with her station. She said her station will be a Fashion Show and the treasure hunt will start around 8pm. So, i decided to join, brought my gear (Nikon D90 of course) and also my flash. Just wanna play around with the flash and see how it goes.

Its simple, there are 7 groups. each group needs to go to each station to finish a task. For the Fashion show station, each team needs pic a small paper in a box consist of 3 types of animal, hedgehog, parrot and a mermaid (is memaid an animal?? XD). Then each teams needs to dress up like the animal they choose for 10 minutes with using newspaper, flour, green stickers, crayon, marker, chili sos and few more items. Then... CAT WALK XD

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta '10

BIIIIIIG BAAAALLLLOOOOONS!!!

Hmm, just wanna make this SHORT. This year is the 2nd International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Putrajaya. It started on the 18th and ended yesterday. Me and my friends went there on the 20th (Saturday). Juz wanna polish my photography skills and also hv fun XD... teeheee. Anyway, went there by bus around 8am. We didnt ride any balloons since its RM10 starting from 0m to 10m and back to 0m for few second at the same spot (wat a rip off... dont u think??). So we just take pictures and all.

A lot of funny things happen that day. At first was wen we took our pictures near a wall, suddenly a big grasshopper landded on my friend's (Farah) shoulder. When the grasshopper flew away, she cried... (aaawwwww... XD). Second was when we went to a petting zoo (pat2... meow) at 4pm... but the birds there do bite and almost bit my friend's (Afina) arm. She screeeeeaaaaamed!! (AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!... XD)

Around 8pm, there was a marching band, but it was too crowded. Right after that was the Night Glow, where each hot air balloons torch their fire thingy while following the rhythm of the music. Then there's the fire works. Went back and arrived MMU around 11pm. Pictures below... hope u all love it

Flood (Danger Level 10)

Its been a while, so i wanna update with an incident that happen today. It all started....

While i was in the library, studying, teaching my friend a thing or two about programming because i got a test at 4.30pm.

Went back hostel around 12.30pm and found out that my roommate Danial (for those who don't know him, he was the one who picked me as his assistant for the CCIP Opening Ceremony and he was the one who threw my wallet in the dust bin) was not there. He went back to JB with his gf. I got the news from my second roomate, Rein (for theose who don't know him, he was the one who invited me to MMU Yukata and he was the one who took me to Putrajaya then jump like mad long2 time ago). Rein was packing at that time, since he wanted to go back home too. So i was alone.

At 3.00pm, wen back to the library.

At 4.00pm, getting ready for the test.

At 4.30m test.

Then at 5.00pm, it started raining.... What The !@#$%^&. I forgot to close the window. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!. I cant do anythin since im in the lab

Around 6.00pm the test ended. It was ok, not that hard. But not too easy. As for my hostel, "BANJIR!!!". huhu. All my stuff (only my stuff) was wet. Haish. There was even a little pool of water at the corner. I did manage to take a pic of my table, but that was it, because... after i cleaned the small pool was when i realize that this could b a good topic for my blog (which then i realize again that its not... i think XD).

Dinner With My Little Sister

Yesterday, my mum went to Penang with my second sister. Why? Well, my sis needs to go back to UITM sungai petani cz next week is her exam week, and my mum went to accompany her. Around 3pm just now, my dad went to KL for a meeting. Then around 5.30pm, my "pembantu rumah" went back for holiday. Soooooo, i was at home... wit my cute2 lil sister, Shazreena (muah2 adik XD)

My mum told me earlier that she will arrive Sabah at 10.45pm. That means, i will b having dinner with my lil sister (muah2 again adik XD). Then me and my sister had a meeting. That's when we decided to buy food from KFC, Pizza Hut and Burger King. Dont belive me? We got pictures. Taken with my lil sister's camera since my camera is with my brother in Jakarta. Yea, he is in Jakarta right now for holiday (he didnt "ajak" me... huhu).

We bought all the food and ate at home while watching Spongebob Squarepants from the TV that I linked from my laptop.

MMU Advanturace '10

Firstly, i wanted to say sorry for this very2 long post. It even pushed all my older post far behind... ahak XD. But in this post there are 92 PICTURES. So for those who hates reading (Like me XD) u can just view all the pictures instead. tq.... lalalalalalalalalalalalalala

Early last week i hv been called to b a photographer for a club event called MMU Advanturace on the 27th yesterday. What is MMU Advanturace u might ask? MMU Advanturace is just like the show called The Amazing Race in AXN. It is open for not only MMU students but also non-MMU. Each team consist a maximum of 4 people and each team needs a car. There are 9 station where each group needs to complete each task in each station to get a coupon. The first 3 teams that arrives at the starting point with all 9 coupon and completes all question with the right answers wins. Those 9 location are aroun MMU, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. The task given includes rock climbing, rollerblading, playing golf at a driving range, archery and more.

I came around 6am where my friends are setting up the stage. They hv only a few members of committee to handle such a big event. The leader, Su (She was my class mate XD) was busy organizing every single thing for the event. At 7.20am the first contestant arrived followed by the second and so on. They registered their team with their unique team name (like Team Kambing "beeek~")

Each group will get a map and the first location hv been selected randomly. Few teams then started to search the location using their laptop or GPS systems in their hand phone.

Then the event started with a speech by Su, the VIP and also a briefing by Shaynee (also was my class mate XD) about the what to do and what not to do. Then each group needs to show their cheer before they get their breakfast.

15minutes before 10am, that is before the race start, each team warm up their cars and the photoshoot begins... hehe XD

Before the flag being wave to starts the race, each team will line up at the starting point. I got a video that i recorded using my Nikon D90 few minutes before the race starts. From the video below u can see each participants honk their horns as loud as they can.

Since i dont have a car (If only i have a car XD), i followed my friend Ming Han (again, was my class mate XD) to some of the stations. He is in charge of the food and med kit for the committee.

The first station that i went was the archery. only 1 goup was there as u can see below

So we went to to the closest station, the fire station. No luck, nobody was there. So we went to the skate part to try our luck and yes there are few groups there, i even caught groups that hv just arrived there

On the way to the next station, i took a pic of a team walking in a group. Im not sure what the next station is called but i did snap few pictures.

After that station will be the rock climbing.

I then did caught a group asking a secuirity for the next location. So we decided to follow them XD

Arrived at the next station, the Putrajaya Millenium Monument where teams will hv to find the answers for the quizzes given in their booklet.

Then we went to the futsal station (just found that its "futsal" not "footsal". Don't believe me, click here) where each teams need to beat a permanent team there with two goals. If they are unable to beat them for 7 minutes, they will hv to face 15minutes of penalty before continuing to their next station.

After that we went to the driving range where teams need to hit the ball pass a line that hv been set up by the committee.

To bad i hvnt got the chance to go to all 9 stations since my friend needs to settle a few things at the finish point. This is because around 12 noon the first time hv already arrived. Picture below are the top 3 teams

MOTO GP (Test Session)

On the 24th and 25th, me and my class mate went to Litar Sepang to see the Moto GP test session. Why we went there??? Cz its FREEEEEEE~~~... hehe. No la, its cz one of my class mate is a big fan of Moto GP and also a big fan of Valentino Rossi (One of the best Moto GP racers... in the WORLD). Why did i follow him, well... juz wanna try sports photography XD

On the 24th Wednesday
Went there around 12pm.... was really2 n i mean really HOT. My whole body was melting. anyway... we can only see 2 bikes on the track and those bike was damn loud. Suzuki and Yamaha if im not mistaken. I took few picture.

We where waiting for Fiat and Ducatti to come out, but no luck. The next day was wen we found out that the riders was just trainees XD

On the 25th Thursday
My friend badly wanna go to Litar Sepang again cz he heard that Valentino Rossi was there. Went there around 1pm-2pm and yea... he was there. Bit cloudy. There ware like 5 bikes on the track and was super fast. Faster then the day before since the drivers are pros. Valentino Rossi is the one wearing a helmet with a chicken on top

Cameron Highland

Yup, this is it, Cameron highland for holiday (CNY) with my family.

It all started with the arrival of my parents. we staid at my aunts house. since evryone including my sister sharlina was there, my dad decided to go to Cameron Highland on the 13th for holiday.We rent a Naza Ria, and started the trip early morning that day. The traffic jam was like sooooo loooong

Should take us about 3 hours but the trip took us about 7 hours for us to arrive. We arrived in Tanah Rata at night and we booked an apartment since we are going to stay there for the night. Then we went for dinner at KFC, but not sure the name of that area. after that, we round2 for near that area for fun. then, we went back to the apartment, n sleeeeeeeeeeeep XD

The next morning, the water was so damn cold, "mandi".... *brrrrr~*. Went for brakefast.

Our first stop was strawberry farm, but too bad, we cant really go up close and touch those strawberrys. So i ordered strawberry ice cream instead... hehe.

After that we went to a diferent strawberry farm, still no luck, cant touch those strawberry.

Our 3rd stop, jeng3... The farm was on a hill, and wit was big, super big. Yes, we can get up close, even pick those strawberrys our selfe. cool huh

Next stop was the Teh Boh field... the view was amazing, but the road was really dangerous. Not much to say since we didnt go to the little cafe on the hill. so we juz took some picture. That afternoon, we went back to subang... thats all... yup, i know its jz for 2 days but it hv been a long time since my family went for a holiday 2gether.

CCIP I-NITE 10'

CCIP I-Nite 8.00pm on the 10th February 2010... the main event of CCIP... nothin much to say though since i hv already explained what is CCIP in my previous post. I-Nite, people dancing, lots of performance... and dats all.

They didnt include dinner with their event (since the event is free... XD)... so our tummy end up *grrrrrrrrrk*. So we went to McD, and we took 1 party popper (leftover from the opening ceremony)

After dinner, we went to an empty road an took some picture, but too bad the party popper was not working at all... but we did took some cool shots.

CCIP

Its been a very2... veeeeeryyyyy... long time since ive update my blog. *sorry* XD

But now i got sumthin to talk about. Its CCIP. What the !@#$ is CCIP??... not sure... kidding XD

Well... CCIP means Cross Culture Integration Program. Its a program with lost n lots of culture since MMU got like about 88 different culture of student... i think la. The main purpose is to *eratkan lagi hubungan* all the cultures in MMU.... *malas wanna translate.. hehe*.Anyway, the CCIP event started on the 8th of Feb (yesterday), and will end on the 11th of Feb (This coming Thursday).

Without me noticing, i was the Head Assistant of the main Opening Ceremony of CCIP (not kidding... i was hopping it was a joke... at first XD). The Head of the Opening Ceremony is my roommate Danial (The one who threw my wallet in the dust bin... click here to read more bout the wallet in the dustbin XD). We where like so busy planing this and that, making letters for inviting the VIP, buying spray paint, flowers and also party poppers, planing for the stage design and much2 more... including buying 4 little birds called Cross, Culture, Integration, Program. What are the birds for??? for the opening la.

On the 6th (Saturday)
The stage hv not been set up yet, they shud have done it 3 days before. So me and Danial decided to go and buy the birds and all. Arrived back in MMU at 11.50... still the stage hv not been set up yet. Then we decided decorate the stage the next day.

On the 7th, 11.00am (Sunday)
We panicked cz we forgot to buy polystyrene board. All the shops around MMU are closed cz it was Sunday. Our Opening Ceremony team decided to blow all the balloons first while thinking of plan B. Then we decided to find any shop that sells polystyrene plates where we can paint it with the spray that we hv bought. Luckly one of our crew members found a shop near by that sells those plates. But then we found an unused polystyrene board nearby our room... hehe. So we are back to plan A.

Around 12pm-2pm
The stage hv not been set up yet... so we went for lunch and get back to work. Our plan was to Spray the board with red color, put the wordings on top of the painted board, then spray it again with another layer but with green color instead. So we tested on a peace of paper first. Then sumthing went wrong. The finishing color shud be green with the wording in red, but the green and red mixed and change into a maroon like color. So we panicked again. Then we decided just to put the letters directly without any paint then spray the board with green color and our letters will be in white. So we tested a little spray on the back side of the polystyrene with green color (just in case anything bad happen) , but somthing bad happened. The polystyrene started to melt slowly.... AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! We where seriously panicing, wondering why it started to melt. So we tested on the plates and this is the result.

Around 2pm-5pm (it was raining)
We changed to plan B. But then the plates are too small. So we decided to buy a *manila card* and just rap the polystyrene board. As for the plates, cut them into letters, C, C, I, P and just stick it on the board.

My friend here Ahmed did an excellent job with the cutting using a knife... very precise, it took him more then half an hour to cut it.

When the board hv been raped nicely by Hema and Farezza, its time to stick those letters on the board. Ahmed went to his friends class to return the knife, so Farezza and Hema was in charge of the sticking thing. When the last letter need to be doubled taped on the board, both of them did a little mistake, that was when Farezza accidentally broke the letter "P" in half... hahahahaha. They then took a new plate and cut it with a scissor in just less then 10 second and replaced the broken one. When Ahmed arrived, they pretend that nothing happened... so funny.... hahaha.

Around 5pm-6pm.
The rain started to slow down. We hv completed stacking all the balloons together, and the board looks nice. Then a security told us to clear the room since we just booked the room till 6pm. So we packed all our stuff and kept it safe in the CCIP Malaysian Division room and went back to *mandi* XD

At 8pm (back on the stage)
The stage was done... wooohooo. Lots of people working here and there in their own booth. From East Malaysia Division booth to Nigerian Division booth. Then the Malay division was decorating the stage.... WHAT!!! They told us that they will be performing on the stage the next day afternoon, so they need to decorate as soon as possible. Then what are we going to do with our design??? What a waste of time! So we just hung the balloons and continue doing the rehearsal for the opening instead. Started with arrival of the VIP, speech, release of the bird as the opening, performance by Malaysian and International Division and... done. Then two of our crew Farah and Afina was trained to guide the VIP since they will be the usher for that opening day. Then we went for dinner around 1am the next day, in the mean time my friend helped us with the location of the board and the design since it will be such a waste of energy and effort if we throw the board away. Went back to my room and slept around 4am.

On the 8th Feb, 7.30am (Monday... The CCIP Opening Ceremony day)
Woke up, making sure everything is ready before going to the stage. Transfer the birds from the old cage to the new cage in my room. Everything was nice and smooth. On the way to the door, i saw sumthin flew to the window.... AAAAAHHHHH... the bird slid through the bars below the cage. Then two more flew. I ran and close all the windows and catch all the birds. luckily i caught all the birds in the nick of time.

Around 8.30am
Arrived at the stage... it was like hell. No sofa's, speakers and amps just arrived, no table for the VIP, no lion dance group, and no MC. Alhamdulillah, everything turned out well before the arrival and also after the arrival of the VIP. Below are the pics

Exam week... haish

anyway... its been a while... really got nothin to talk about. so ill just post some pic. took these pictures when i went back to sabah for HAJI on the 26th to 29th of November. HAJI was on the 27th. Why i went back? Cz my parents went for HAJJ or we what we Malaysian call HAJI. My younger s sister (Shazreena) was kindda lonely at home.

but b4 posting all the pictures, Shazreena's birthday was on the 21st of November. So me, my brother n my second younger sister (Sharlina) plan to share money (or in malay we call "tong2", or in Sabah we call "patak2") n buy her a small mini printer. Cz my mum n dad bought her an early present... a Sony Cyber-shot compact digital camera.

Back to the topic... pictures...

26th, arrived at 0100. yup 1am... and my lil sister hvnt sleep yet. so i gave her her present.

27th, HAJI... at noon i went out, searching for a camera shop, just to update myself with new camera n lenses. then i just went out on the road with my D90 and shoot anythin i can.

Around 11am I think, this morning. I was using my laptop on my bed. My roommate was clearing the study table n cleaning the room a bit. Throwing unwanted rubbish and all, then he started packing for his SRM Kem Trip. Suddenly my roommate asked me "U owe me RM25 right". Well yea, I did owe him RM25. So I climb down my double-decker bed, search for my wallet on the table, it was not there. So I search in my pocket, not there. I might have put it on my bed, not there either. If I left it on the bed before i went to bed last night, I might have kicked it of the bed, so I checked the second bed below my bed (double-decker bed), then search underneath the second bed. Checked my jeans, shorts, begs, drawers, boxers, underwear... still, my wallet is missing.

At 11.58, my roommate said "it’s ok, u can pay me next time" cz he was kindda late for the trip. So he went off. I on the other hand was still searching for my wallet. Then i started to clear all the bags under the bed, n searched 1 by 1, each bags. I was going nuts. Then i remembered last night I went out to by food. So I slowly follow the path that i took from my hostel to the food stall, n I still can’t find my wallet.

At 12.22, i started to give up, and then i remembered that i went to the toilet before this, so maybe i left it in there, and still the wallet is nowhere to be seen. So, i double check under the bed, taking all the bags under the bed out, again, searching inside out. After searching... jeng jeng jeng...... still no wallet... (damn)

at 1.01, i tried to remember what did i do with the wallet. I was sitting in front of the PC, thinking like a mad man, doing nothing. Just breathing and thinking. The only thing I remembered was goin out last night to buy some food for dinner, return back to my room n ate my dinner. Then that gave me an idea where to search, the dustbin right outside my room. Since I ate in my room last night, i threw the remaining n plastic in the dustbin, it’s possible that I threw my wallet at the same time.

at 1.18, DAMN... no, no... not my wallet, cz its even worst, the dustbin had already been clean by the hostel cleaner... NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!. But there’s a small plastic bag in there. The colored plastic packet in the small plastic bag makes me want to inspect it a little more. cz the colored plastic packet remind me of my roommate’s fav oatmeal biscuit. So i picked it up.

My SB-600 and Light Stand

A week ago i got myself a SB-600 speedlight for my Nikon D90.

Bought from a friendly guy... the condition is still good. His reason for sale is to save money for the SB-900... whoo~. I test it few times... learning the basics of manual flash where the aperture controls the exposure and the shutter controls the ambient light. Really cool... starting to understand the concept of flash power... and how to use the Nikon wireless CLS or iTTL system... But i mostly use the manual, so TTL is out of my dictionary for wireless flash... i took some pic

This is a simple shot. Just place my roommate's (Danial) perfume on the table, with the SB-600 behind it. The shutter speed at 1/4000s eliminates the ambient light creating a pitch black background. In this photo, i was holding an A4 paper right in front of the perfume so that it creates a long white reflection on the cover of the bottle perfume. Picture not edited.

Yesterday, at noon, i received my percale by Postlaju... wooohooo... my light stand that i ordered from www.shashinki.com... simple stand to put the SB-600. since i hv got no bracket for the flash to stick to the stand and a white umbrella, ill just make my own by scratch. DIY... hehe

Cool huh... today i turned the guest room into a studio... well... just a simple studio. Still learning how to take a proper portrait.

Back to Sabah... Weird things happen

Yup... just arrived sabah. at last... holiday... WOOHOO!!!

It started this morning, i woke up at 0700. Kindda too early cz my flight at 1250 hours... Flight AK5106. Then i decided to go eat, went down to hostel...

WHAT!!!... closed... well yea~, holiday... then my tummy go "grrr"... haiz.

Thats ok, ill go buy food outside campus, then i went back to my room, 4th floor, took my brothers car key. Then right in front of my brothers car, i took my wallet and take a lil peek...

WHAT!!!... I have like RM11.25 only...

But thats ok, its enuf for me to order a Nasi Goreng Biasa. So i unlock the car, start the car then waited outside for a while... warming the car up... after a minute or two...

WHAT!!!... no fuel... how am i suppose to go to the airport with no fuel

Thats when i realize that the flight was booked together with some food, Nasi Beriani... so i went back to my room... ya~, 4th floor. It started to rain... heavily. So, i packed evrything up... and then i was on my way to Putrajaya Bus Terminal... But wen i was on the way to Putrajaya

WHAT!!!... the car skidded... yup... i was at 70km/h... and it skidded

i turned left in a junction, the car skidded... i felt the car going sideways... my hand started to freeze... i have got like about 10 meters before crashing on to the pavement was wen i hit the breaks... but it adds even less grip on the tires, making the back end of the car turn while producing a loud screeching sound... not even reducing my speed, i was less then 6meters before hitting the pavement... then, with my gaming knowledge... i slowly release the brakes, but still adding a little pressure... while slowly counter the direction by slowly steering the car to the right... then the car just glide smoothly out from the tight junction. Im telling u... its all in slow motion. i was really shocked, my body was shaking for a while, my gut was all cramped... even my balls felt like it was smacked using a baseball bat.... thank god avrythin turned out ok and without a scratch or dent on the car.

After that... went to Putrajaya Bus Terminal, planed to fetch my brother's friend, Aiman there. I thought he will waiting at the front of the terminal, so i called him... he said he was down there near the buses... the problem is that, i never driven near the buses. so i went there, frind a junction to go near the buses, went straight, following a sign saying "park & ride"... after few meters...

WHAT!!!... saw a sign saying "Kuala Lumpur"... i missed the junction...

Luckily there was another sign showing the way back to Putrajaya Bus Terminal not far after that. Fetch Aiman, then he send me to LCCT. Arrived there at 1020... bit early cz the counter hvnt open yet. So i waited right in front of the big screen. So i double check my beg and all... when

WHAT!!!... I forgot my acer laptop charger...

Thats ok, my brother, my lil sister, my mum, all using acer laptops. So its not a big problem then. Then i checked in when the the counter opened. So now i hv to wait for the plane. So bored, the rain started to slow down. Kindda empty, but after a while, it was like "pasar ikan".

Then i saw this guy looking at me. He looked so tough, wearing shades... so i ignored him... but i still felt like hes still looking at me, so i took a peek... yea... he stares at me like i he was going to kill me. then a lil kids came from behind me... ran too him. so he wasnt looking at me after all. I mind my own business. Then, a bottle fell from his unzipped bag. He stands up with the his big bag on his back, bend down to take the bottle, thats when it happen...

WHAT!!!... 2 glass from his back pack fell less then one meter and right in front of me...

I was like so "tekejut". the two glass are just like the glass that i got from mcd in my previous post. He cleaned it up and evrything was ok and then...

Wow, i was shocked, i double chek my ticket... yea... its gate P2.I decided to wait... wait... and wait. I was correct... this gate is the right gate... hehe. The cool thing is, My seat 5F, is qualified for express boarding... Wooohooo. Then evrythin went perfectly fine. Took a picture while they where fueling the plane.

WHAT!!!... just wen the plane started to speed up... theres was a weird loud noise

Huhu... the noise was like a loud repeating "klack" sound at the right turbine of the plane. That was the first time i was really scared on a plane... ever... in my life. It was really loud, and last about 20 minutes when the plane was already a few thousand meters above sea level. Took some pictures.

Halu... yesterday was my last paper. b4 the paper... i studied like #ell. yup... #ell. Non stop, cz the subject was Engineering Math (dizzy2). Studied... till 1am, my paper starts at 9am. So i got like about 7 more hours... then it came... unexpected... at the wrong moment... and the wrong time (jeng3)... i heard a low pitch trembling sound... (GRRRRRRRRRRK) i was hungry... hehehe. But i got a problem... i got no food... i need food... FOOD!!! then i ask my roomate who's still a wake at that time.

Danial: Sure... haritu i pegi pukul 1 lebih dah bukak dah?

The night of Raya 19th
Lepak2 in subang (my grandmother's house). Not planing on staying there for the night... instead my parents book a condo in Petaling Jaya 2 days earlier. The condo was nice... 2 rooms, very spacious. We rent a Nissan Grand Livina since there are 6 of us and my brother's car is a Proton Wira Aeroback.

We all "buka puasa" in Subang... and... that is all i guess... hehe.

1st day of Raya 20th
From the condo, send my mum to Subang... then me, my dad and my brother went for Raya Prayer in Subang there. After that, went back to PJ, fetch 2 of my lil sisters then went back to Subang. Then eat, eat, n eat... all u can eat XD

2nd day of Raya 21st

3rd day of Raya 22nd
On the 3rd day of Raya, we went to One Utama... just for a while since we plan to "beraya" at my cousin's house not far from there. Then i saw my cousin... LIA!!!!.... hehehe... miss u.... can see ur neck orady.... wooohooo. Me still thin... uuuuhuuuu. She bought a new speedlight flash, Nikon sb-600 for her DSLR, the Nikon D60... coooool. Give me Lia.... i want. hehehe.

After "beraya" there... "beraya" at another house in subang. That was wen the fun begin. ROCK BAND on PS3. Hehe... its like Guitar Hero but with an extra guitar for the base, a drum set for the drummer and a mic for the singer. Cool huh.... a whole band. Everyone were hving so much fun.

FYI... my brother's FYP presentation was awesome. Hehe.

Yup, his Final Year Project presentation (FYP). He told me to take same pic, so i came. It was held in the Faculty Of Engineering (FOE) building. He was calm n cool when presenting. His project was creating a sound effect program using a software called MATLAB... and i would say... he did well. The program converts voice or any other sounds to a few multiple choices from Chipmunks to Dath Vader (uuhhhhhuuuuuuu... I AM YOUR MOTHER... hehe). My brother did mentioned that his plan was to create a conversion from a male voice to a female voice (that would be so cool)... but he said it was !@#$ hard. After the presentation... he was like "punya laaa... so nervous" hehehe. Here are some pics

Its 4.30am in the morning... "SAHUR!!!".... wait aaa~... I eat first...

Im done... hehe

In my previous post i did mention that i "balik" Sabah... well... just for about 3 days... but i did few things. In fact, i did a lot of things when i was in Sabah... including my favorite subject... photography. It was Sunday 6/9/2009... i was just sitting in the living room... lookin at my toes. Then i took my camera outside... i even took my dads Tamron 90mm macro lens.... attached it with all 3 extension tubes that i got, n took some pics. The pics are not that good though... need lots of practice. I posted some pics i took below

The prob is that... to have a good studio photo shoot, i need a good studio light. But... b4 searching a light source... i need to make a mini studio. I did manage to make evrything, including getting some good lighting. I did evrything in the guest room. My mum helped my lil sis with her hair and all. The result are good. Windows 7

Wah... just came back from Sabah. Yup, I "balik" Sabah last Friday, and now im here. 3 n a half day is not enough. "sandi betul ni, nda puas" Hehe

Recently
I installed Windows 7 for my desktop pc... really nice, the loading time are amazingly fast... even when u start the pc... super fast. Looks cool too.

So i decided to install Windows 7 on my netbook (got a new Acer Aspire One netbook about 2 months ago). BUT... i got 2 problems

1. All netbooks don't have a CD/DVD Rom drive. So cant install Windows 7 by DVD
2. My netbook have the original Windows XP fixed in the 160GB hard disk... so formatting and installing the new Windows 7 will erase it from the hard disk

My solution ..

1. Since i can't install by DVD, i hv to install by USB thumb drive, so i need to make a bootable 4GB thumb drive
2. Since i dont want to delete the original Windows XP from the 160GB hard disk, i bought a new 500GB hard disk XD

So... First, i make my thumb drive as a bootable thumb drive, and transfed all the Windows 7 installer in the thumb drive. Then, i open the back of my leptop with a screw driver (oh my god... my warranty!) then just exchange the Hitachi 160GB hard disk with the newly bought Western Digital 500GB hard disk (waaaaaaaa). Finally, i just boot my thumb drive, install the windows like normal.. and i'm done... TADAAAA.

Some people might b wondering how i make my thumb drive a bootable thumb drive. Below are the steps i did.

Below are 7 steps tutorial on how to install Windows 7 using a thumb drive. 7 steps Windows 7, hehe.

Step 1: Download windows 7
Download Windows 7 (pirated... hehe XD). Im pretty sure its a ".iso" file since u downloaded it from the internet.

Step 2: Extract windows 7 ISO file
Extract it in a new folder on ur desktop using a software called WinRAR (u can just google for it).

Step 3: Copy the bootsect file
Then, in the new folder on the desktop, open a folder called "boot", then right click on a file called "bootsect.exe" and select copy. Now... open ur drive C, then just paste it there.

(paste the boostsect in C drive)

Step 4: Using the command prompt like a PRO to format your thumb drive
Open a command prompt as administrator (Go to start> all programs > accessories > and right click on Command Prompt, then select "Run as administrator".

Next just type as below into the command prompt

diskpart
list disk

from here u can see the number of disk and USB available. Ill asume the USB thumb drive is "disk 1". Now... u need to format the drive by typing as below. U can replace the number "1" with the number of your disk below.

select disk 1
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=NTFS
assign
exit

There u go, u hv just formatted ur thumb drive.

Step 5: Still using the command prompt like a PRO, but now to make it bootable
Now u need to make ur thumb drive a bootable thumb drive. just continue typing in the command prompt as an administrator. U can replace the letter "f" with the letter of your disk below.

cd\
bootsect /nt60 f:

Now ur thumb drive is a bootable thumb drive.

Step 6: Making ur thumb drive a bootable Windows 7 thumb drive.
This step is easy... since u hv got a bootable thumb drive... now u just hv to copy all the files n folders of Windows 7 from the new folder on your desktop to your thumb drive

Step 7: Almost done
Yup... almost done... because now u need to change ur pc (or in my case... my netbook) to boot the usb. Switch on your pc... go to setup of ur BIOS, change the boot setting to force boot a USB or Drive... now you are done

Thats all...

Kenko Extension Tubes

At last... Did so many experiments with my kenko extension tubes and i would like to say, u do need some time to master it.

Note: For any photographers reading this... this post might b useful

Before i start... the function of the extension tube is to get a bigger magnification for any DSLR lens... or in other words... like a macro lens.

Introduction about the extension tubes...

(Kenko extention tubes... 12mm, 20mm, and 36mm)

The extension tubes cost about RM700-RM600 (includes 3 tubes... 12mm... 20mm... and 36mm like in the picture above). These 3 tubes can be stack on one another creating more magnification. To use the these tubes, mount it to the body of ur DSLR and mounting any lens on the extensions. Confused? Here is a picture that might help... hehe

Note: Reading this part below might be boring for some people... it's too technical... brace urself... hehe

Using this extension tubes... exposure meter works perfectly and all AF (auto focus) lenses works great... till when u stack all 3 tubes... the AF gets confused because of the small DOF (depth of field). So... the more u stack the tubes... the smaller the DOF, yet giving a higher magnification. But... there is a problem... attaching the tubes reduce the focusing distance... resulting unable to focus to infinity, thus creating just a small focusing distance.

Btw... for this review... i will be using my new Nikon D90 XD... and a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens

Note: All photos taken using aperture priority, maintaining the aperture at f/11 while the shutter speed fixed at 1/60 sec since i'm using the built in pop up flash, holding an A4 paper at the top end of the lens as a diffuser, set my focusing distance at 0.45m

Love the detail

A normal 1:1 macro lens cost more then RM1000 and the picture quality is good, but the extension tube won in term of cost yet havin a magnification way beyond the normal macro lens.

So... the conclusion here is that... brush ur teeth every morning... hehe

Happy Fasting XD... yup... today is the first of Ramadhan

What is fasting???...

Act of willingly abstaining from some or all food, drink or both, for a period of time... in our case... prohibited from eating, drinking, angry, smoking, and engaging in sexual intercourse (ehem... hehe) while fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan, from dawn til dusk.

Now i got about 2 hours before "BUKA PUASA"... the only problem is that... im bored... im alone in my room doin nothin... well... its just like anyother day actually... nowan in the room but me. The only difference today from any other day is that... im all alone in the room while fasting... on the first of Ramadhan... hehehe. Since i got nothin 2 do... i got some time doin my review about the extension tubes. Will post soon... XD

New Gear

Recently, my dad came to KL. He's plan was to buy a new dslr camera for him, the D300. But me and my brother suggested that my dad should buy the new D300s that had been 'released' (thats wat we herd). We went to Sungei Wang, Lowyat, 1 Utama, Mid Valley, and also Subang Parade... and found out that the new D300s will be in stores at the end of this month... say wat?!... yup, we (me and my bro) thought that the new D300s and D3000 had just been released, well... its true... but, will be in stores end of this month. Ain't that just so damn comfusing...

Ow well, my dad just hv to wait. Since he didnt buy any camera, i got my new gear for my dslr... hehe... no no, its not a lens, its just a UV filter for my stock lens 18-105mm (yup, b4 this im using without filter... thank god no scratch) and.... drum roll please....... a new EXTENTSION TUBE (WTFH is that thing) hehe. Its an extension where u fit it on the body of the camera and the base of any lens, and taadaaaa... there u go, a new macro lens. hehe

Whats a macro lens? Its a lens where u can shoot photos close up, thats all i guess, hehe.

New DSLR

Just came back from Sabah. last week was my midterm break... so i went back to sabah... cz i miss my home. Didnt do much, juz rest, sleep and eat. But i got the chance to use my dads dslr Nikon D90 'wooooooo' since i sold my Olympus E-520. Took few amazing shots. Using a Tamron 90m 1:1 macro lens with F2.8 widest apature.

Handling the d90 and testing it... i would like to say that this dslr is a uniqe mid-range class dslr. It is capable of capturing photos with high iso while reducing alot of noise. This camera could also record a HD 720p 24fps videos and its the first dslr with high-def video. I would give this camera an 8 out of 10. Why not 10 out of 10... well... i think the new Nikon D300s that hv just been released deserves a 10 out of 10. Not to mention that im giving a 9 out of 10 for the D700 and 1000 out of 10 for both pro-range class dslr D3 and D3X... hehehe. Squash Club

Few days ago... i registered for squash club in my university... actually my friends "paksa" me, they said if i dont want 2 join... they will kill me... TRUE, but not the killing part... hehe. What is squash?? well... its a recquet sport, beeing played in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball.

The first meeting was on the 16th of July, n it was great, knowing new frends, having fun, there was like 100 people there... NOT!!! it was like 20+ people there n we barely know each other. The only best part was that... got KFC, yum2. hehe.

Well... today was when i realize dat it was a good thing that our members are around 20+, cz MMU only got 3 squash court. My first training was at 7.00pm just now. We practice simple stuff such as "drive ball" and... well... thats it i guess. Cz we hv problem mastering it. Its harder than it looks though. i even had the chance to pose in some of the pics below...

i know, all of these pics are taken using my handphone. HUHU... cz recently i just sold my dslr. HUHU... now i know i cant survice without a dslr camera. huhu... need one....

on the 29th n 30th of may... i became my faizal's, my kazen pengapit. the wedding was held in melaka

29th
akad nikah... didnt do much on this day. juz sitting near him. at night was amazing. me... as his pengapit, i had to hold the umbrella, yea... weird huh... umbrella at night... theres a reason though. got fire works. it was beautiful. we went in side... and i start doin my job 'kipasing' n 'laping' abang faizal. hehe. he was sweating like hell... me too

30th
besanding... same like last nite, i hold the umbrella n escort abang faizal till he hit down n start sweating... hehe... wah, very hot this time... 'kipasing' n 'laping' abang faizal like last nite... thats all i guess.

i dont hv any pics for those days yet since im the pengapit n all. will copy those pics from my kazen soon. but i got wedding pics for the guys side that was held on the 13th of june in Lahad Datu. this time i became a photographer cz its my bro's turn to b a pengapit. using my dad's dslr. nikon d90 with sigma 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 and a nikkor 55mm 1.8. still... got no speed light flash... so most of my pics are blur cz not using any flash or uneven lighting cz using the builed in flash. so... tada...

Hmmm... well... it seems that i really got nothin to write for more then 1 month. i guess nothin really happen. Im busy lately with the study week, exam week and all... study2, busy2, *gambatte*. This shot was amazing. Mount Kinabalu. On the 25/1/2009, I was wit my family at Perkasa Hotel in Kundasang. Using a polarized filter, i got most of the colors out of it. But sadly, the details are not so gud... because of the wrong contras setting that i forgot to change back before taking this picture.

Love this picture... I wasnt using my polarized filter, but the color of the water was like unbeliveable. Took this picture on the 21/3/2009, at my cousins (camelia's) house. Love the detail. Told my sister, nina to make a splash, n this beautiful shot was taken.

It last for 40hours, from the 10th april till 12th april today. Sadly i didnt join. Evry1 who joined got free this n free that, but thats ok, i was kindda busy dat time (temankan my frend meet his old frend at KL Central). FYI, Id rather spend time with my frends or family than playin games for 40 hours, thats wat im tryin 2 say. It was held at the MMU Grand Hall, and i would like to say it was damn cold there plus the rainy weather and all *shivering*.My frend did joined the lan party, his eyes was red... hehehe. Imagine 40 hours playin games without sleeping and can only go out from the lan party area for 3 hours *DIEEE*. Got some photos, but was taken by my frend with his D60 but with my nikkor 18-105mm lens (D90 stock lens)

30 minutes flood

Im totally bored right now. Just updating my blog with craps. Yesterday, it was "raining like cats and dogs". Some people might not know the meaning of "raining like cats and dogs". Well, like a student from a college once explained, "it was raining heavily till the cats and dogs ran back home" hehehehe.

It was about 3pm yesterday, the weather was bad. It was sudden, raining till it flooded the hostel car park area. Yup... its true, got few pics.

But the weird thing is, the rain and the flood last only for 30 minutes. WEIRD huh.. after that, the sky was blue with bright white puffy clouds.

Today i got the urge to take picture of my cats (kittens to be exect) Kiko, Coco, and Snow. very2 cute. made a small studio with white cloth as background n backup lamp as lighting. here are the shots

Saturday 21st
Today... my mum, both sis n me went to my cousins (camie) house. SWIIIIIIMM. I brought my camera, set the ISO as high as possible (but pic will end up grainy a.k.a noisy) since i wanna get a high shutter speed. after a few shots... we started jumping n splashing into the pool. then my mum took over and bcame the cameraman (correction... camerawoman... hehehe). plan 2 edit the pic as animated pic ".gif", but most of the picture quality will b lost. Sunday 22nd
Today my we went to the zoo. hehehe. I used my dads camera... Nikon D90 *mouth opened*. Not much interesting pic... so wont b posting pic for this day (too many pic in this post already)

Tuesday 24th
Today was fun... i went out wit my friend, hehehe. She was so kind n so cute... and looked amazing *heart stoped*. We went out round2 center point finding a present for my sister. But end up empty handed.. hehehehehehe. Then we stop by at Yogur Berry (my first time). Yum2... very masam (till my face go pnyet2 few times). We didnt finish it... hehehe. Mine sill got fish tail in side (not real fish tail)

Then we decided to go skating... dats when the fun starts, cz we where there alone. We talked and had a lot of fun... The second time she fell down, she pulled me, so we both fell... hehehe.... we both sat there on the wax floor with no one around in the skating ring. She fell down 3 times... i fell down 1 time... so i win.... hehehehe

After skating we went to Tanjung Aru Plaza, photocopy some documents. Then went for high tea... hehehe (but ordered apple juice)

Wednesday 25th
HAPPY BIRTHDAY sis!!!! Now shes officially 18... and getting older. We (me, my sis and kazen) went to Wagamama to celebrate. We got coupons.... hehehehe. But after few minits on the road my sis decided to invite her frend. She invited her frend Ah Lina a.k.a Athung. Mmmm... shushi, yum2. Got few shots

After the celebration... we went to camies house, packing her stuff for her convo tomorrow.

That night me and my family went out for dinner at Rasa Nyonya not far from Tong Hing. celebrate my sis birthday and also my mums coming birthday (my mums birthday tomorrow). Camie also join... hehehe.

Thursday 26th
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMmy. hehehehe. woke up early, send camie to her convo tinggy at my ex school.. LA SALLE at tanjung aru. After i send camie, i parked my car at a parking spot not far from the beach, wen i looked around... both my sisters are asleep (awww... must be tired). then i decided to bring them to mcD for breakfast. after that we went back to La Salle... OMG, we were late. We came in... damn!!! the principle was making a speach... then evryone looked at us.... we where like VIP.... hahahahaha. It was fun... meeting my teachers, frends and all.

When evrythin was done... we went back home. Then i went out to meet her again, this time for lunch (at 2.30... is it still lunch hour?). She was adorable, hehehehe. she looked awesome. We talked, and i secretly took her pic... sshhh... don tell her, hehehe.

Just found out she took my pic too... hehehe

She said she was full, but she did finish all... hehehehe (cz i kindda paksa... jaat me). after that we went to a phone shop, tryin to get my hp fix. But they said it will b done after a month... WHAT!! So i canceled.

Friday 27th
The last day b4 goin back to KL. Got plan but canceled. So decided to go buy stuff. Went to CP, tryin 2 find "rantai"... then saw my frend Dyana, wearing a pink sweater at Palm Square (she so cute... hehe). She was on break. So she decided to join me. All the necklaces doesnt suite a guy... then we walked to Pasar Philippine, didnt find any there too. We went back, stop by at Warisan Square for a drink and send her back too work. Thats when i saw this BAG... so nice... wanna buy, no money ow. But after that i go bought sumthin from a gift shop for my frend... eh... since wen i got money... hehe. Then i decided to go meet my frend Fazley... he was working, but he just "cabut lari" and meet me. We just talked since we havnt seen each other for so long. then we took pic... he was trying to be as tall as i am in this pic.. hehe

Hehehe... 7.45pm i drove my car... 8.00pm i reached my frends house, gave the gift... then go back home. thats all i guess.

My holiday was ok, at least i did some stuff... cant wait for the next holiday... hehehe

Today i went out wit my old frend Fadhil. I think about 3 months we didn meet. At 2am we where chattin online. We plan 2 wake up early and he will come 2 MMU Cyberjaya and fetch me. After we chat i continue chattin (sms) with my friend Glo (she was mad at me cz i reload her HP) *smack my head* (i shud not hv done that). We chat till 3am.

The next morning, i heard "Datu2, we!!!!... bangun la... Fadh dah datang". It was my frend Ayie at the door with his 'tongkat' (he injured his leg the last time he played football). I look at my hp... *OMFG!!!* its almost 10pm. hahahahahaha. Fadhil came n i greet him then i went 2 shower. Few minutes after that we where on the way 2 KL. While on the way, his touch n go didnt function at the toll, ngahahahahaha. So funny. Thank got it was ok at the second try.
First we went 2 fix his hp, went 2 KFC for lunch, then went 2 pavilion. So i shop, shop, shop.... hahaha.....

The time we went out i off my hp cz my batt was red. When switch it on... there it was... 33 missed call by the same person *OMG*... hehehehe XD

Anyway... my friend birthday is tomorrow, so i just wanna wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! SMILE ALLWAYS...

Just Married

Not me... hahaha. My cousin, abang Fir. 1 moment we where playin Load Runner (pc game), now hes married. So fast time goes by. The wedding was big... n i mean really big, very grand. It was held in Labis, Johor. Menteri johor n YB2 also came (I think...). On the 7th march 2008, i became 1 of the guy that carry the "hantaran" and also a photographer... hehehe. That night we stayed in a hotel called The Neo Pegasus. The next day, 8th march, was the bersanding ceremony.

On the 7th, evening, mostly i was using my cousin's, Lia (Abang Fir's lil sis) Nikon D60 with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. My brother used my camera on that day. We dont have a speed light flash, so i just set the iso 600-1600, depends on the condition. On the 8th morning, using my Olympus E-520 with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, i set my aperture at f/3.5 for most of my shots and let the shutter do its work in aperture priority mode.

BANKRUPT!!!!!

Today was the worst day of my life. Bankrupt!!!!!... i got no money, not even a single thing. I stayed at this hotel. i stayed there for 2 times, the same hotel... yup, not 2 nites, but for 2 times. Staying there for 1 time cost $950, so... it cost me $1900. DIEEEEEEE. I sold my house, all my property. i got nothin, and im officially bankrupt. BANKRUPT... can u belive it.

It all started after 11am, i got class at 1pm... but still nowan came. orady 5 weeks in a row (since first week) *curse u totrial class*. ngehehe. so... i got nothin 2 do the whole afternoon. Thats when it started. BUNKRUPT... DIEEEEE. i even got the prove.

YUKATA 浴衣

On the 3rd of march, night.

I went to an event in MMU called YUKATA WORKSHOP. What the F@#$ is yukata u might ask... well... its juz a japanese summer garment. U can just google it if u want more info bout yukata. I went there with my frends n we all tried it. We looked like samurai worriers, but... without the samurai. We do look good, if only we got samurai sword, sure we look awesome.

Got this chinese guy suggested "kan bagus klu ade bawa BATANG" *smack his head* hehehe. If got samurai sword dat time *chop his head* ngahahahaha

It was fun, learning how to tie the knot n evrytin. We took pics, lots n lots of pics. We where like models... ngehehehe. There are even girls wearing kimono... so KAWAII!!!!! Here are some pics
